Shut down all mail notifications :

In the above image “important notifications about you or activity you’ve missed” is enable change it to “Only notifications about your account, security and privacy” so that facebook will not disturb you regarding comment, sharing, tagging etc mails but with security and privacy mails.

Turn on mail notifications that you like to come :
